Meet Ashley Jangro
Licensed Therapist. Certified Coach. Mom of Six.
Someone who truly gets emotional overload, because I’ve lived it, studied it, and helped others through it.
Hi, I’m Ashley Jangro, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), Certified Life Coach, and mom of blended family with six kids. I help people who feel like their emotions are running the show, anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or spiraling, find their way back to calm, clarity, and confidence.
If you're here, you or someone you love might be stuck in a cycle of stress, reactivity, or exhaustion. Maybe you're snapping when you don’t want to. Maybe you're withdrawing or trying to numb it all just to make it through the day. You’re not alone.
You’re not broken.
You’re reacting in the only way your nervous system knows how right now. The good news? You can learn something new, and it can change everything.

Why I Do This Work
As a woman, a mom, and a therapist, I know what it’s like to look like you’ve got it together on the outside, while quietly (or not so quietly) unraveling inside.
I’ve sat with teens who feel overwhelmed by emotions they can’t name, and women who are tired of holding everything together for everyone else.
This work matters to me because I’ve lived the pressure, the guilt, and the quiet question: “Why does this feel so hard?”
I built Steady Within for people who want something more than traditional talk therapy. My approach blends the depth of therapy with tools that actually shift how you move through life.
I use evidence-based techniques from DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care, plus my own signature framework to help clients:
- Regulate emotions in real time
- Build self-awareness without judgment
- Shift the thoughts that keep them stuck
- Take meaningful action toward the life they want
This is strategic, supportive, and steady work.
You'll learn tools that work right now, and build lasting emotional strength for everything that comes next.

Why “Steady Within”?
Because life is always going to throw curveballs. The goal isn’t to eliminate stress or tough emotions, it’s to build the inner steadiness to face them without falling apart.
When you’re steady within, you don’t have to white-knuckle through life anymore. You know how to respond instead of react. You trust yourself to handle hard moments. You feel more in control, even when life isn't.
The Steady Within
Difference
Most therapy focuses on reducing symptoms, then spending months talking about the same problems. That’s important, but I go deeper. I help you build skills that change how you live.

Rooted in Regulation: I don’t just help you “calm down." I teach you to understand your emotions, name them, and respond in ways that align with who you want to be.

Beyond Coping: We move past survival mode. You’ll learn tools that help you feel empowered, not just functional.

Real-Life Ready: Whether it’s obsessing over an embarrassing moment, the dread before a hard conversation, or the stress of trying to parent through chaos, everything I teach is designed to work in real moments, not just on the therapy couch.

Backed by Science, Rooted in Real Life: I use evidence-based approaches like DBT and ACT, paired with deep compassion and lived experience as a therapist, mom, and human.
Because when you change the way you process emotions, when you change how you think about your thoughts, your entire life changes. You'll feel better and be able to do more than you ever thought possible.
What It Feels Like When You’re Steady Within
When you become steady within, everything changes:
Most approaches focus on surface-level fixes: managing behavior, avoiding triggers, or powering through. At Steady Within, we go deeper.
You feel in control again. That spiraling sensation? The panic? It stops running your day. You’ll learn to ride the wave, not get pulled under.

You build emotional strength. You stop fearing emotions like sadness, anger, or anxiety. You get the skills to handle them—and the self-trust to know you can.

You communicate more clearly. Whether you're a teen trying to make sense of your world or a mom navigating constant demands, therapy helps you slow down and say what matters.

Your relationships improve. You stop reacting from stress and start responding from steadiness, creating more calm and connection in your home and life.
Whether you’re a teen struggling to make sense of big emotions, a young adult struggling to figure out what comes next, or a woman feeling buried under anxiety, pressure, or self-doubt, therapy here isn’t about “coping” better. It’s about learning how to feel in control of your emotional life, even when the world around you isn’t.
When you build steadiness within, you stop feeling like your emotions are calling the shots, and start responding from clarity, confidence, and calm.
Where to Begin Your Journey
If you’re tired of walking on eggshells, wondering if you're doing enough, and feeling like your emotions have taken over your home like an uninvited houseguest… you're in the right place.
Start Therapy (Colorado Residents)
If you’re stuck in a cycle of overwhelm, reactivity, or emotional exhaustion, whether it’s showing up at work, in parenting, or just in how you feel inside, this is where real change starts.
The work we’ll do together goes beyond traditional talk therapy.
You won’t just vent. You won’t leave wondering what to do next. Instead, you’ll gain tools that actually help you feel better, and live better, starting right away.
We’ll determine together whether therapy or coaching is the right fit, or the right blend of both, based on where you live and what you’re looking for.
My Professional Background
I’ve spent nearly two decades helping people grow—first as a teacher, then a coach, and now a therapist. I hold dual master’s degrees and bring a trauma-informed, skills-based approach to everything I do.
But my most valuable credential? Living real life.
I’m a mom and stepmom in a beautifully blended family of six kids, including several with neurodivergent traits and big emotions. I’ve lived the chaos, the curveballs, and the heartbreak, and I know the strength it takes to show up again anyway.
This work isn’t theoretical for me.
I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, frustrated, and unsure how to help the people you love, or yourself. I also know that it can get better. And that the tools I teach really do work.
