My Journey: From Overwhelm to Steady
Welcome to the very first episode of the Steady Within Podcast! I'm Ashley Jangro, and I'm so excited to share this journey with you. Today, I'm opening up about my personal transformation from living in constant anxiety and emotional overwhelm to finding true steadiness within myself.
For years, I found myself caught in cycles of emotional reactivity, using various forms of numbing to cope with the intensity of life. Whether it was scrolling social media, binge-watching shows, or simply staying constantly busy to avoid feeling, I was living in a state of disconnection from my true self.
The Turning Point
The shift began when I realized that all my coping mechanisms were keeping me from the very thing I was seeking - a sense of inner calm and self-trust. I knew I needed tools that would work WITH my emotional system, not against it.
This led me to develop what I now call the AERO Framework - a simple yet powerful 4-step process that has transformed not only my own life but the lives of countless clients I work with as a therapist.
